Christmas is almost here - can you feel it? If you're the type that starts shopping early, you might already be done and looking forward to all of the fun Christmas activities ahead - such as looking at Christmas lights!
We recently rounded up the best streets from Citrus Heights to Cameron Park and now we are bringing you part two of that series - the best Christmas displays in the Roseville and Rocklin areas.
In fact, some of our favorite streets to visit are on this list. This area goes BIG for the holidays and we are HERE FOR IT!
So, if you're looking for the best list with vetted streets from locals, this is for you. Keep in mind, though, that we never know what future years will look like. We always recommend having a plan to visit 2-3 streets in the same night in case one of them decides to not participate that year.
Best Christmas Lights in Roseville:
Let's start off with a bang with these great streets to visit for truly jaw-dropping Christmas light displays:
1. Bayside Church Adventure in Roseville:
Get your tickets and get in line for this incredible drive-through holiday lights display in the parking lot of this Roseville church! This mile-long procession is enjoyed from the warm comfort of your car.
Tickets are usually free, but they are required. We made the mistake of showing up last year without them and there were no light shows to enjoy, even though it was within the advertised hours. We learned the hard way that you need the ticket - even if to know for sure that the lights would be on display.
Address: 6401 Stanford Ranch Rd, Roseville, CA 95678
2. 200 Hillsford Ct.:
This street goes all out! Gotta love when a whole court gets into the spirit of Christmas and shares their holiday cheer with everyone else. Look out for which channel to tune in for the houses that synchronize with music.
3. 607 Falcon Way:
This may be one house, but it's rockin' 30,000 lights, as well as tons of characters, like Santa on a John Deere tractor! A great addition to a night drive where you hit 3-4 streets.
4. Twinwood Loop:
You'd love seeing these beautiful houses during the day and lit up with Christmas lights at night is even better. Light up arches line the street and Santa himself shows up on Saturdays. Purchase a hot cocoa to stay warm and know that your money is going to helping feed the hungry at Placer County Food Bank. Drive through or park and walk to take in the full experience.
5.200 Hillsford Court:
All or most of the houses on this court usually decorate. They have been known to use Light-O-Rama equipment. Need help locating it? Find updates and address info on their Facebook.
Best Christmas Lights in Rocklin:
1. Pebble Creek Drive & Strand Road in Rocklin:
Right after you visit Bayside, take a short trip down to this street in Rocklin for an awesome, immersive Christmas light experience. So many homes on this street participate. You can drive slowly or park and walk through.
Be ready to settle in, though, because it gets busy and you don't want to rush through one of the best decorated streets in the area.
If you walk, grab a hot cup of cocoa for only $1 and give back by dropping off a canned food donation to help feed the hungry this holiday season!
2. 5620 Onyx Drive:
You know a house is worth visiting if they've gone through the trouble to synchronize their Christmas light displays to 104.7! Kids are always in awe of the perfectly timed light displays, so this is a great one if you want to see your kids' faces light up.
3. 5836 Devon Drive:
A house that knows how to celebrate the season, with lights, plenty of cut-outs and a nativity scene!
4. 2039 Taft Drive:
Another fan favorite with lots to enjoy. One of the best things about the single house displays is that they are not as crowded, so they are perfect additions to a night spent driving through busier courts.
